Spring has officially sprung here at Rumar farm, and with it comes one of our favorite seasonal treats: fresh organic asparagus! After months of patiently waiting for warmer weather, we’re thrilled to bring you tender green spears bursting with flavor, nutrition, and the care that only comes from organic, small-scale farming.
Why Choose Organic Asparagus?
Organic asparagus is grown without synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or genetically modified organisms (GMOs). This makes it safer to eat and better for the soil and local ecosystems. Additionally, because asparagus is a perennial crop, it benefits from organic farming practices that improve soil health over the long term, ensuring robust harvests year after year.
Nutritionally, asparagus is a powerhouse. It’s low in calories and rich in folate, vitamin K, fiber, and antioxidants, which supports detoxification in the body. Eating organic asparagus ensures you’re getting all these benefits without the potential residues from chemical sprays.
Taste the Difference
If you’ve only ever had store-bought asparagus, you’re in for a real treat. Our spears are freshly harvested, firm, and full of flavor — grassy, slightly sweet, and never bitter. They’re perfect for tossing on the grill, roasting in the oven, or adding to your favorite spring dishes.
