Bradford watermelon is very large (can range from 20 – 30 lbs) and flavourful heirloom variety with fragrant dark pink flesh, pearly seeds and a rind so soft you could slice it with a butter knife. They were thought to be extinct but has been reintroduced to chefs, gardeners and food enthusiasts around the world.
